Pep Talk from Kid President

From time to time, everyone needs encouragement - a little pep talk, if you will - and often you find them in the strangest places. I don't get on Facebook all that often (as opposed to Lauren, who is on there all the time), but this morning I logged in to respond to a bunch of Facebook messages that I know have been sitting in my inbox for a week. After I checked my messages, I scrolled through my news feed and suffered through reading various hateful, negative posts. Then, just as I was getting frustrated enough to say something like, "This is the kind of crap that makes me avoid Facebook," I heard this from Lauren's computer. It was quite refreshing compared to the negativity people spew out on their walls so much of the time. I just had to look it up and post it here. Let's keep it positive, people.

"Create something that will make the world awesome," he says.

I have a children's book that I wrote, but haven't gotten around to publishing. It's time to get off my butt and make it something more than just a file in my Evernote account.

What are you going to do to make the world awesome?
