Valentine's Day Pinterest Inspired Wedding Card Hole Punched Heart Frame DIY
Last Valentine's Day DIY of the week! I am a sentimental sap when it comes to our wedding. I seriously look at our wedding pictures at least once a week. I kept all of the cards from our big day and have been wondering what to do with them. One of my goals for the new year is to stop pinning stuff with out any intention of making, and start making at least one project a month. I saw this project done with baby shower card pages on Pinterest and thought I could do the same thing with our wedding cards. Check out the original idea here. It's beautiful right?
I changed a couple of things for time sake and because I am lazy (glue dots and heart hole punchers made it easier for me!
What you will need:
Wedding Cards ( or any special occasion cards, tissue paper, beautiful paper, postcards etc.)
Frame and Matte for your hearts
Glue Dots (or glue, tape or abc gum... ok gum would be gross.)
Heart Hole Punch (size of your choosing)
Then you will need to heart punch your cards, I made sure not to punch any card area's with writing on them, because I am still keeping the cards after this project.
After they are punched, arrange them on the matte how you would like them. I made sure not to put a certain color heart more like pink, next to another pink one, but really that is up to you.
Once they are arranged, use your glue dots to glue down your hearts.
And literally that's it! A super easy Valentine's Day Craft!
This project would work with any pretty paper, from Kate Spade tissue paper to postcards from trips, the ideas are endless!
